The Chief District Office, Saptari has announced some areas of Rajbiraj as restricted areas in perspective of conceivable clash among the cadres of the 33-party alliance led by the UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. The CDO has announced some areas between Sahid Dashan Chowk and Gajendra Chowk as confined zone after 33-parties allaince-led by the UCPN-Maoist, ruling parties and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal decided to organise separate protest programs. The CDO allowed Gajendra Chowk to ruling parties while Sahid Dashan and the premises of Shiva Temple have been given to 33-parties alliance ledby UCPN-Maoist and RPP-N respectively to organise their protest programs. Security has been tightened in the areas.
