Police had raided and rounded up 49 individuals from different hotels for their alleged involvement in illicit activities on February 21. The hotel entrepreneurs accused the police of troubling them by conducting raids at their hotels. Hotels in Muglin-Narayangadh area have been closed down for an indefinite period at the call of Hotel Entrepreneurs' Association. Police repeatedly warned against conducting illegal acts also asserts that the 10 hotel owner arrested included 49 because the work of in the hotel.
