His tongue has grown too big that he could not keep it inside his mouth. Because of his enormous tongue he can’t eat and speak easily like other ordinary people do.

He was born with twin brother, during birth time his tongue looks just a little bit bigger than others. But that did not bother him at all till he was 2. Unfortunately one day Basanta fall sick and his tongue started to grow bigger. Now Basanta is under treatment of Annapurna Neuro Hospital, Maitighar. There are 99 Percent chances to cure him According to Dr. Dipak Regmi. But his poor parents could not afford money for his treatment. They are already in debt to pay his younger brother’s medical treatment. Their father went to India to work as a labor at construction. Basanta’s parents had another baby boy Sameer before one and half year ago. Sameer was diagnosed heart disease; his has 3 holes in his heart. Basanta and Sameer’s mother Hima Sinjali brought them Kathmandu with hope that they might be cured. Sameer is under treatment of Sahid Gangalal Hospital.
