Nepal is going to built news cricket ground in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. It has been 4 years since another cricket stadium was in process of building but never completed.In 2013, National Sports Council allocated around रु 4.5 crores from the sports budget for a second cricket ground in Mulpani. In 2014, the stadium was allocated a separate रु 20 crores for its construction in the 2014/15 budget presented by the Finance Minister. The stadium will have capacity of 30,000, two-storey pavilion building will have a store room, players´ change-room, medical room, umpires seating area, CAN operation office, VIP seating area, media room, media center and live commentary room.In 2011, the stadium received रु 3 crores for its construction from Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as CAN signed a contract with Gaura Construction Pvt. Ltd.
