Follow Up: CEO of Kumari Bank Limited Mr. Udaya arrested

The CEO of Kumari Bank Limited Mr. Udaya K. Upadhyay was arrested by Nepali Police.Mr Upadhyay was arrested red hand by police while doing illegal activities.

Mr. Udaya Krishna Upadhyay was appointed as the CEO (Chief Executive Officer)of Kumari Bank Limited for the next four years as decided upon by 02-70/71th Board of Directors Meeting held on 5th September 2013 at the corporate office of the bank.

 The bank and the board members congratulate Mr. Upadhyay, who had been shouldering the bank’s responsibilities as the Acting CEO since November 2011 and extend best wishes and support to take the bank to a newer height during his tenure.

Hotel entrepreneurs in Narayangadh of Chitwan district shut down their hotels for an indefinite period after police arrested 49 couples from differenthotels in Chitwan . The hotel entrepreneurs accused the police of troubling them by conducting raids at their hotels. Mr. Upadhyay has 28 years of experience in the banking sector. Kumari Bank is presently providing banking services from 30 point of representations and has 38 ATM locations all over the country. 49 individuals from different hotels for their alleged involvement in illicit activities on February 21. The hotel entrepreneurs accused the police of troubling them by conducting raids at their hotels. Hotels in Muglin-Narayangadh area have been closed down for an indefinite period at the call of Hotel Entrepreneurs' Association. Police repeatedly warned against conducting illegal acts also asserts that the 10 hotel owner arrested included 49 because the work of in the hotel.
