The sinkhole terror has now hit the Tulsipur of Dang district. Sinkholes have appeared in Pokhara city has terrified the locals living under serious threat of destruction.
Similar type of sinkhole were appeared in Pokhara. Over 105 sinkholes appeared in Armala village nearby Pokhara city last year, resulting in the displacement of as many as 65 families. Lands in various parts of the city including Naya Bazaar, Bastolathar, Chipledhunga, Jarewar, Durbarthok and Nuwarthok caved-in in the past one month, according to locals. "The lands caved-in as the rainwater stored underground did not find any passage," he said. "Proper management of underground pipelines can solve the problem."
