According to thehimalayantimes, Two children were killed as a cowshed caught fire in Madanpur of Nuwakot district on Saturday morning.The shed belonging to Biresh Kumar Lama in Pakhure, Padanpur VDC-9, had caught fire while the children were playing inside the cowshed.Biresh' two daughters – Rashbu (6) and Phuchchi (2) - and neighbour Rabish Lama's five-year-old daughter Diksha died in the incident, Nuwakot District Police Office said.Whereas Phuchchi died on the spot, Rashbu had succumbed to burn injuries while being rushed to a health camp being held in the area. Diksha breathed her last on the way to Kathmandu for treatment.Police said the cause behind the blaze is yet to be ascertained. Police suspected that the children might had ignited fire while playing.
