Ottawa Fury FC forward Oliver Minatel, 22, was jumped and choked on an Air Canada Jazz flight from Toronto to Atlanta on Friday. "He just jumped on me," Mr Minatel told CNN reporter Paula Newton, who was also on the plane and filmed the aftermath, according to CBCNews. Passengers can be seen in the background of the video telling the man to stay seated and to put his seatbelt on.
