Metropolitan Police Circle Maharajgunj has said that Nilkantha Maharjan, 25, of Kathmandu Metropolis-2 has been charged with rape of a 13-year-old girl. Husband of the girl's teacher, Maharjan raped the girl twice on April 7, police said. Police registered the case at district court on April 8. According to police, medical check-up of the victim was conducted at TU Teaching Hospital and further investigation is ongoing into the incident.
