It will be awhile before we know the full extent of the damage and the final death toll. At least 29 districts have been designated as crisis zones.
Hospitals in the capital have been overwhelmed. About 90% of the 1,000 homes in the villages of Laprak and Barpak near the epicenter were destroyed.




Relief Material The Ministry of Defence on Monday assured the equipments sent to quake-hit Nepal that includes 58 tonnes of water, RO Plant, Oxygen Regenerators; medicines will improve communication for helicopter operations.

Ministry of Defence (MoD) official spokesperson Sitanshu Kar took to Twitter for sharing the information.
“#NepalEarthquake 6 medical teams, engineer task force components, blankets, tents and Other items being flown in to Nepal today. #NepalEarthquake One C-17 a/c of IAF carrying 58 tonnes of water leaves Palam and is about to land at Kathmandu,” Kar tweeted.

 “#NepalEarthquake Also sent to Nepal this morning: RO Plant, Oxygen Regenerators, Medicines, 1000 blankets, 100 tents, 3 teams of NDRF, Field Hospital, Air Force Comm Centre vehicles,” he said in a series of tweets.
