The Chandranigahapur Area Police confirmed that three persons lost their lives when an ambulance carrying a new born child with mother and truck (Na 2 Kha 9898) from Gaur to Chandranigahapur collided with each other.
Ambulance driver Suresh Biswokarma Chandrapur municipality died on the spot while lactating mother Hamibul Khatun and her new born breathed their last while undergoing treatment.
Injured Samundra Biswokarma and Roksana Khatun are being treated at Birgunj and truck driver is absconding.
Further investigation into the incident and search for the driver is on, said the Area Police Office source. RSS
