Engineering students of Pulchowk Engineering Campus have exhibited models of safe and easily affordable houses. The week-long exhibition of house models of safe and temporary designs prepared by the engineering students is being organised by the National Planning Commission.
On display at the exhibition at the campus premises are various models of safe houses that do not demand much cost. The students have prepared miniatures of houses the cost of which range from 15 thousand to 500 thousand rupees. They claim that houses costing 500 thousand rupees will be built with bamboos and they will last for 25 years.
