Nepal earthquake aftermath

Posted by Anup Baral May 28, 2015 :The death toll from the April 25 devastating earthquake that was followed by several aftershocks including the powerful one on May 12 has reached over 8800 as of this morning, according to the latest updates made available by the Ministry of Home affairs. Sindhupalchowk is the worst-hit zone in view of human casualties with a record of more then 3,500 deaths so far Likewise, the number of the injured has passed 20,000. A total of 488,788 houses of general people were completely destroyed and 267,282 houses were partially damaged by the earthquake.
