Senior leader and former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has stressed on the need to form a high-level authority to conduct relief distribution, resettlement and reconstruction works in the aftermath of the destructive earthquakes in the country.
“I don’t believe the existing government mechanism and its performance would be able to relieve the people hit hard by the disaster and rebuild the devastated structures,” the leader said while talking to media persons at his residence at Sanepa Friday.
