People celebrate International Yoga Day at Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on June 21, 2015. United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 2014 had decided to celebrate June 21 every year as International Day of Yoga, upon a proposal presented by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As many as 77 nations including Nepal has endorsed the proposal, demonstrating a global recognition of yoga benefits.
