Five Nepali bowlers have secured place in the top 100 of the ICC T20 International Bowling Ranking.
Basanta Regmi, Shakti Gauchan, Sompal Kami, Paras Khadka and Sagar Pun made it to the list. This is the first time five Nepali bowlers were enlisted in the top 100 at the same time. Ranked at 63rd position, Basanta Regmi holds the top position among the Nepali bowlers. He is followed by Shakti Gauchan at 74. Likewise, Kami is ranked 79 while Paras Khadka and Sagar Pun occupy 91 and 92 positions respectively. Meanwhile, Paras Khadka, who made a debut in the ICC T20 International Batting Ranking on July 8 by claiming 64th position, descended 8 positions down to rank 72. Sharad Vesawkar ascended four places up to occupy 77th place. Meanwhile, vice-captain Gyanendra Malla, who was ranked 86th in the previous batting ranking, failed to make to the list this time.
