Two engineers have been arrested on charge of taking bribe money from a users' committee in Nawalparasi district.
The officials from the Butwal-based Liaison Office of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Ishwori Prasad Dhakal and Yogendra Mishra red-handed with the bribe money from their offices.As per the information, these engineers are arrested with the amount of 56,000 Nepalese Rupees. The amount has been given them by the irrigation users’ Committee member in order to prepare the fake report of the project completion.
