Former Minister for Commerce and Supplies and leader of Sadbhawana Party Shyam Sundar Gupta, who was jailed for abduction of businessman Pawan Sanghai, was released after serving three and a half years on Saturday.
A gathering of party leaders, supporters and relatives welcomed Gupta outside the jail.
Gupta organized a press meet today where he said he will re-enter politics to work for the country and the people.
He stressed on the need to promulgate the new constitution soon to end the political instability in the country, and stated the need of communal harmony and social justice. RSS
