Pakistan Violates Ceasefire at Border, 1 Dead 3 Injured. Two back to back ceasefire violations in 24 hours in the border villages by Pakistan Rangers has resulted in the casualties of civilians.

Tensions between India and Pakistan are back in the spotlight as they trade blame for a series of skirmishes along their borders in Kashmir region. Islamabad says New Delhi is responsible for the death of four civilians in artillery fire that struck villages near the eastern Pakistani city of Sialkot. The shelling on Thursday also wounded five people. India says none of its drones crossed into the Pakistani side. New Delhi instead points its finger at Islamabad for the death of a woman and the injury of four others in the shelling of a border village on Wednesday. The two neighbors often exchange fire along their disputed border area. Only last week, both nations’ prime ministers met on the sideline of a summit in Russia to help end the hostilities.
