A micro-bus was set on fire by a group of students in front of Tri Chandra College today. Ba.1.Ja numbered micro-bus was set on fire by students after the micro bus hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian Namgel Sherpa from Bigutar-8 of Okhaldhunga district had sustained critical injuries after the vehicle (Ba 1 Ja 9136) hit him this morning. Sherpa was rushed to the Bagbazaar-based Kathmandu Model Hospital, where he breathed his last during treatment, police said. Meanwhile, an irate mob set the microbus on fire, completely destroying the vehicle.
