Police Inspector Binod Sharma, who won accolades from various quarters for his job as an investigation officer in the murder case of Dailekh-based journalist Dekendra Thapa, has been denied promotion for his involvement in the very case is now facing critism for using excessive power to control protest.
Previously he was praised by medias for rescuing more than a dozern girls and women involving in prostitute by giving traning in work skills. After arriving of Nepal Police DSP Binod Sharma in Ithari crime rate has been decreasing. About a montha ago he has arrested ten hotel owner from Ithari in accused of Hotel owner involving in prostitute. All ten owners are in police station under custody for further investigation. When Dsp Binod sharma arrived in Ithari he step up to stop this kinds of crime. Dsp Binod sharma is also known as brave police who arrested the killer of reporter Dekendra thapa.
