She was blessed with perfect eyesight when born. Since she was a child, her eye exams always reported back that she had 20/20 vision, something, which she didn’t realize until she started loosing eyesight.
Her sight is permanently taken from her, she relied on her other senses to guide us as she visited the different sections of the experience, a park, a grocery store and a busy intersection, among other places.
“People with vision loss are capable of doing everyday things, like banking, knitting and reading. We just need to teach them how to get back into it,” says Shristy.
