A Moroccan man suffocated to death in a suitcase while being smuggled into Spain in the trunk of a car, according to the Spanish government.
A Moroccan man suffocated to death in a suitcase after his brother tried to smuggle him into Spain in the boot of his car, the Spanish government says. The 27-year-old man was on board a ferry that was traveling from Spain's north African territory of Melilla to the mainland Spanish city of Almeria, the BBC reported. His surviving 34-year-old brother, who has a French passport, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, EuroWeekly reported.
