Baby found in Beijing public toilet, rescued by police officer: Heartbreaking photos capture the moment a newborn baby was rescued from inside a Beijing public toilet after her mother gave birth and walked away. The child became stuck, down the pipe of the toilet, and was discovered by the police after members of the public called them to say they could hear a baby crying. Pictures show a traumatized police officer lifting the tiny infant to safety from the toilet in the floor.
