Hindu rastra ko maag rakhdai gariyeko anischitkaalin purbanchal banda ko karan jana-jivan prabhabit. Normal life has been severely affected in Itahari due to the bandh organized by Vedic Eternal Hindu State Nepal struggle committee in Eastern development region. Transportation, school and colleges remain closed due to the bandh. Putting forward demands of Hindu State Nepal, ban on slaughtering of cows and oxen and provision in constitution banning conversion of religion the committee has launched indefinite bandh and strike in eastern development region.
