Bagmati Festival was held by the Bagmati Cleaning Campaign on Saturday by organizing various events along the stretch of the River from Jorpati to Gothatar.Ministers and leaders from various political parties rafted along Bagmati River with an aim to raise awareness on Bagmati Cleaning Campaign on Tuesday morning. Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Minister for Urban Development Narayan Khadka, Minister for Law and Justice Narahari Acharya and Chief secretary Leela Mani Poudal participated in the rafting campaign that started from Gothatar to Pahupatinath Temple area.Rafting event named “21st Century Boat Diplomacy” was the attraction of the event, with senior leaders of the political parties, diplomats from different countries and lawmakers participating in rafting along the River stretch from Jorpati to Pashupatinath Temple.
