Minister for Law Narahari Acharya, who had gone to Tudikhel to end the fasting of the youths demanding to declare Nepal as the Hindu statehas narrowly escaped assault from some youths in Tundikhel in the capital on Wednesday.The activists attacked the minister with stones on Wednesday while he was reading out a letter sent by Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, urging them to end their hunger strike. They said that their agreement with the prime minister was not implemented in the new constitution. As per the initial plan, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala was scheduled to visit the protesting youths in Tudikhel. But Acharya had gone instead of Koirala due to the latter’s busy schedule.
