Dutch Safety Board: Missile downed Malaysian jet MH 17 in Ukraine

The Dutch Safety Board has released its final report into the fate of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which crashed in Ukraine in July 2014, killing all 298 people on board. The report found that the plane was hit by a Russian-made Buk missile. An animated video describing the damage to the plane was shown to journalists and relatives of those who died. Last Month officials say that a piece of debris found on the beach of an island in the Indian Ocean very well may be from missing flight MH370.

A large piece of debris washed ashore on Reunion Island could be from the missing airliner MH370. Report by Asana Greenstreet at ODN.Police are investigating whether a piece of plane wreckage washed up on the French-owned Reunion island in the Indian Ocean is from the "missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.The debris looks like a wing flap but officials have little else to go on and have stressed it is too early to say one way or another.On 8 March 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappears en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on board. As of February 2015 the Boeing 777-200ER has not been found.
