The Dutch Safety Board has released its final report into the fate of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which crashed in Ukraine in July 2014, killing all 298 people on board. The report found that the plane was hit by a Russian-made Buk missile. An animated video describing the damage to the plane was shown to journalists and relatives of those who died. Last Month officials say that a piece of debris found on the beach of an island in the Indian Ocean very well may be from missing flight MH370.
A large piece of debris washed ashore on Reunion Island could be from the missing airliner MH370. As of February 2015 the Boeing 777-200ER has not been found.
