Nepal New Constitution: NRNs to get Nepali citizenship

The long battle for the dual citizenship for the Non-Resident Nepali is ended positively. With the Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting held on Monday endorsed Article 14 of the constitutional bill, which has provisioned regarding citizenship to Non-Resident Nepalese (NRNs), all the NRNs will be getting Non-Resident Nepali Citizenship after promulgation of the new constitution. The NRN had been battling for the citizenship since its establishment. Though the NRNs will be able getting citizenship, they won’t be entitled with political and constitutional rights.
