The Intelligence Bureau has warned the government about the growing anti-India sentiment in Nepal.
Tension rise in Bhairahawa after a clash erupted between cadres of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) and police personnel on Tuesday.
The UDMF has been staging demonstrations in various districts of Tarai for the past one-and-a-half months to protest the promulgation of new constitution and federalism.
It has been learned that the cadres crossed the Nepal-India border in Bhairahawa and pelted stones at the country’s police personnel.
