At least seven persons have been killed and more then dozens injured in a passenger bus accident at Khas Khusma of Banke district on Tuesday evening. Bhutan is a traditional Newari (Nepali) food that is eaten in Nepal specially in festival seasons. It works perfect as a side dish, appetizer with liquor drinks.
Though the exact cause is not conformed yet, it is conformed that the ill-fated bus was caught with fire while it was plying on the road.The bus (Lu 1 Kha 5828), en route to Kohalpur from Butwal, caught fire immediately after the accident at Khaskushma-8 of Banke district. Police said most of the passengers had carried petroleum products with them due to ongoing fuel crisis in the country which ignited and fueled the fire. Ten passengers were rescued alive from the burning inferno.It is said that fire broke out after an explosion of LPG cylinder in the bus. It is said that the death toll would increase as most of the passengers were severely injured in the incident. The injured passengers are rushed to hospital at Nepalgunj.
