A day after Shiv Sena workers smeared black paint on his face and called him a "Pakistani agent", former BJP member Sudheendra Kulkarni said he is an agent, yes, but of peace between India and Pakistan.
"I am certainly an agent, but not of Pakistan, but of peace between India and Pakistan in South Asia," Kulkarni said in press conference on Tuesday.
Kulkarni said that "it has been PM Modi's effort from day one improve relations with our South Asian neighbours."
Kulkarni also hoped the Shiv Sena will respect his right to freedom of speech.
