As per AFC rule, AFC Disciplinary Committee also imposed the team with a fine of $14,500 for violating the rule. Likewise, it gave the three teams Nepal played against in Kyrgystan a win of 3-0 score line.
Nepal had qualified to the championship being held in India in 2016 as one of the top runner up teams.
ANFA has reportedly received a letter from the AFC regarding its action.
