The Belahiya transit on the Nepal-India border is closed again from yesterday. It was closed for almost 2 weeks after some Nepali youth reportedly thrashed two Indian persons on few days ago. The border entry point, which saw restrictions earlier by Indian side on the passage of vehicles carrying goods and cargo, had resumed some days ago. Following the closure, the Nepal-bound cargo vehicles have not been allowed passage. Only people returning to Nepal have been allowed.
