Former Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai on Tuesday announced a two-month campaign for the formation of new political force. Bhattarai and leaders of civil societies today submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli urging him to resolve the tarai problem through dialogue. They reached the official residence of PM at Baluwatar and urged him to resolve the ongoing problems, citing that the border blockade and tarai protest were different matters. The memo reads not to divide the people in different categories of nationalist and antinationalist. The memo emphasizes to maintain bilateral relations on the basis of independence, freedom and equality. The relations should be forwarded on the basis of interdependency. The delegation team comprised Dr Bhattarai, Dr Sundar Mani Dixit, Khagendra Sangraula, Dr Ahiraj, among others. On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli said that the government was ready to go ahead realizing the spirit of the memo. RSS
