Defence Minister Bhim Bahadur Rawal warned that the government would mobilize army to deal with the ongoing protests in Tarai, if need be. Speaking with journalists at the Reporters’ Club in Kathmandu today, the DPM said the government would leave no stone unturned to protect the nation, its territory and people. “If necessary, all security agencies can be mobilised for protection of the people and the land,” he said. “The government is much restrained now,” he warned, “(But) the government would take appropriate decision as per the necessity.”
