Government is going to sell firewood to Kathmandu denizens from 8 am Sunday. According to the Ministry, a family will be allowed to purchase a maximum of 100kg firewood.The government had planned to sell firewood from Friday but it was postponed due to the Tihar holidays. Forest Ministry is going to sell firewood through depots of Timber Corporation of Nepal, a government entity. “We will sell wood from Balkumari and Gaushala from Sunday morning,” spokesperson of Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation Krishna Prasad Acharya said. “The price has been fixed at Rs15 per kilogram.”

People suffering from acute shortage of gas in Bhaktapur are standing in line with an empty cylinder from 5:30 am this morning after the rumors of distributing gas. Gas distribution Gas Thousands of consumers of Himal Gas are in line after they heard about distribution of gas. The line started from Subhakamana Party Palace in Surya Binayak, Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur Gas Seller Association said that they would distribute only 4 hundred half cylinders . As per the association, gas cylinders of 21 different companies are to be distributed .
