An unidentified gang on Sunday night opened fire at a teacher at Simraungadh in the district Sunday night. The victim has been identified as Brijkishor Yadav, SP Lokendra Malla of District Police Office, Bara told Republica.
Yadav has been undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital in Birgunj. He is out of danger. Yadav is a Nepali Congress supporter. Police said they have launched a manhunt for the culprit and investigating into the case.
