Cold wave has started affecting daily life in Mid-Terai and Mountainous region. There has been no sunshine in places of Mid-Terai. The mobility of vehicles and people in the highway is also less owing to the steep increase in cold. Cold wave can affect mainly people with chronic diseases, respiratory problems and children below five years of age. There are not enough arranging firewood to light fire in the thorough fares for the public.
