JICA President to visit Nepal

Shinichi Kitaoka, President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is visiting Nepal from coming Sunday to Tuesday. The main objective of his visit is to observe the earthquake-affected areas of Nepal including Chautara of Sindhupalchok district, reconstruction progresses, Kathmandu-Bhaktapur road constructed in assistance of JICA and discuss overall Japan-Nepal cooperation strategies. During his visit, courtesy calls to dignitaries of Government of Nepal have been planned, according to a JICA press statement. Kitaoka is scheduled to meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, Minister for Finance Bishnu Paudel, and National Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Yubaraj Khatiwada.
