India play Nepal in the final game of Group A knowing a win will secure them a place in the semi final round. The Gorkhalis come into the game knowing they must win this game to stand any chance of progression to the knock out stage
India’s injury problems mean they will be without key players especially in midfield and defence, but the latest injury doubt is Robin Singh who looked to be in some kind of discomfort immediately after scoring the second goal of the game.He will likely face a late fitness test and in his absence, Sunil Chhetri who was shifted on to the flanks will have to play up top as the lone striker.
Nepal will look to make a few changes against India and it is expected to be tactical. Coach Aussems will be hoping key players like Bimal Magar and Anil Gurung take up more responsibility in a high pressure match such as this. Aussems will be hoping he can outsmart his counterpart in the interesting tactical battle that will ensue.India have faced Nepal more than a few times in less than a year and they have beaten them only once. This will be a concern for Constantine but will give hope for the fans of Nepal. As and when the final whistle blows, we will have a good idea of how the Group A table will be structured.
