'At least 8 killed in India air base attack yesterday.After a 15-hour long gun battle, all the five terrorist have been neutralised. However, in the encounter three jawans including 2 Indian Air Force jawans and a a Garud commando were also killed. The IAF in its report said the likely plan of the terrorists was to destroy valuable assets of the Air Force. The attack by terrorists, suspected to belong to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit, took place at around 3.30 am. The terrorists, with huge quantity of RDX in their possession, made their way to the base from the back side where there is a jungle.
