Naya Shakti, a campaign initiated by former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, has formed four departments to carry out tasks in a systematic way. The campaign had announced 35-member interim council on Sunday, giving a preliminary shape to the force which will be turned into a political party. It has form the organisational department with Devendra Poudel, Kalpana Dhamala, Ram Chandra Jha, Pasang Sherpa, Navaraj Tiwari and Mahendra Paswan as members. Similarly, former finance secretary Rameshwore Khanal, Rajendra KC and Keshav Man Shakya are members of finance department. Mumaram Khanal, Mukti Rijal and Ramrijhan Yadav are members of the publicity department. Durga Sob, Kumar Poudel and Keshav Dahal are entrusted to manage party office. Khim Lal Devkota, former lawmaker from UCPN (Maoist), has been appointed as spokesperson of new political force. According to Devkota, all departments will prepare their respective plan and present in the next meeting. The campaign is expected to hold its first convention in a couple of months to give a formal shape to the party.
