The Nepal Electricity Authority on Sunday announced increase in the power outage time to 84 hours a week. Now, there would darkness upto 14 hours a day. According to the new load shedding schedule to be effective from Monday, there will be no power for 13 hours in each of four days and for eight hours, 10 hours and 14 hours in each of the rest three days of a week. Earlier, there was load shedding for 11 hours a day, or 77 hours a week
