Nepali Congress Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel held discussions with Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Wednesday. “I informed the ministers about the difficulties surrounding friendly Nepal-India ties and problems that have surfaced in the past few months due to the blockade,” Poudel told the post after meeting the Indian ministers, “They said that India was aware about the problems facing Nepal and difficulties in the supply of essential commodities and expressed their commitment to solve the issue.” Leader Poudel said that he informed the ministers that his party Nepali Congress was collaborating and working as per the political agreement with Indian leaders to address the demands of Madhes. He informed the ministers that in a few days the constitution amendment process would come to a close.
