Oli government completes 100 days

The customary honeymoon period of the present government, formed under Prime Minister KP Oli on 11 October, has completed last week. However, the performance of Oli as Prime Minister was very dismal. No one from the opposition to coalition partners to his own party, the CPN-UML, to media and the general public is happy with what PM Oli and his jumbo cabinet did in 100 days. Oli regarded to be a brave leader turn coward after he resumed the high office. In each of his public speech, he looked more like a comedian and joker than the executive head of the government. He turned a complete failure on both political and governance fronts. In a strange and unexpected move, the coalition government in Nepal has decided to form a four-member Eminent Persons Group (EPG) to look into all aspects of Indo-Nepal relations ahead of Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli's planned visit to New Delhi sometime in February.
