Normal life across the country is affected due to increasing cold and snow fall in mountain districts. Many places experienced rainfall and a sudden dip in temperatures. The mountain districts saw snowfall while the tarai remained under a cold wave. Heavy snow followed by incessant rain badly affected the locals of Jajarkot district. Over a dozen VDCs and settlements including Khalanga, Paink, Jhapra, Ramidanda, Nayakwada, Rokayagaun, Archhani, Pajaru, Talegaun, Dhime, Daha, Majhkot and Kortrang received about one foot of snow.
