Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai has said that the Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli’s official visit to India would be concentrated on removing misunderstanding and normalizing straining bilateral ties. At news conference here today, Minister Rai added that the visit would focus on strengthening bilateral relations after creating trustworthy environment even to implement the developmental projects signed between two countries in the past. He further said that no agreements against the national interest would be signed during the visit. Minister Rai further informed that PM Oli would set his second visit to China and agreements on bilateral trade and transit would be signed during the visit. In another context, Minister Rai who is also the spokesperson of the government informed that the government was working out to end power crisis within two year. Expressing the view that the government has been moving ahead by maintaining development, prosperity and good-governance in the country, Communications Minister Rai said no one could now make any obstruction in development journey. He said that preparation was underway to join the Nepali Congress and Madhes-based political parties in the government after upcoming 13th general convention of the Nepali Congress. The Minister said that life in the country affected due to border blockade has started turning into normalcy with the withdrawal of border blockade and there would be smooth supply, adding the unannounced border blockade was ended without any compromise against the welfare of the country.
