The open Tundikhel ground in Kathmandu went melodious on Saturday evening as more than 25 thousand audience came together to watch the much loved Bollywood playback singer Mohit Chauhan live in concert. The environment already started getting musical in the afternoon as popular Nepali reggae group Joint Family Internationale, beloved Nepali singer Nima Rumba and Nepalese Army Jazz Band went up the stage to enthrall the audience with their musical performances. The Nepalese Army Jazz Band gave an instrumental performance of the patriotic songs like ‘Rato ra Chandra Surya’ and ‘Yo mann ta mero Nepali ho’ to warm up the audience prior to Chauhan’s performance. They also played Chauhan’s songs ‘Tum se hi’ and ‘Sadda haq’. When Chauhan finally came on stage, the excited audience started applauding and cheering up even more energetically. They cheered in unison when the singer remarked, “You all are very lucky that you live in such a beautiful country. I’m glad to be here for the concert.”
