Nepal beats Namibia for 142 close to division 1

Nepal won their third back-to-back victory in the ongoing ICC World Cup League Division 2 beating hosts Namibia by seven wickets at United Cricket Club Ground, Windhoek in Namibia on Wednesday. Half-century from captain Paras Khadka propelled Nepal to a three-wicket win over Namibia.Nepali batsmen achieved the target of 142 runs posted earlier by Namibian side in 37.5 overs making 146 runs. Nepal chase 142runsin 49.1overs.

Similarly, Nepal also won against Canada in their third match of the ICC World Cricket League Division-2 at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Namibia on Tuesday. Nepal were playing 2003 World Cup participants Canada in their third match of the ICC World Cricket League Division 2 at the Wanderers in Windhoek, Namibia yesterday.Canda won the toss and were elected to bat first. Earlier, Nepal lost their first match by two runs at the hands of Uganda. Also, Nepal defeated the Netherlands by two wickets to register a historic victory in their second match of the tournament. The historic win against the Netherlands not only relieved Pubudu Dassanayake and his boys but also brought Nepal’s Division 1 aspirations back on track. Nepal are yet to play one of the tournament favourites hosts Namibia, who have one World Cup appearance to their name, along with two-time World Cup participants Kenya.
